Main quest hubs include.. Quest Cheevos. Closing the Shade. The Ebb of the Tidelord. Dwarf Beards and Dwarf Tales. Go to the area in the middle of Faering Woods where the water is. Kill the Lumbering Fiends found all over the Grey Gardens area. Loot the Hammers from them. There is only one carnage quest in Moonshade Highlands! Keep following the road until you reach the Three Springs town. Go to each Idol and right click them to pray.
Head to the West to find Hammerlord Post, the next quest hub. Those Guardians must be shown that we are not so easily beaten. I cannot leave my post, but if you are willing, the cannons along the ridge could be repaired and used to fire upon Guardian positions in Moonshade. That would be a huge step towards driving them out of the area completely. Perhaps now the Guardians can begin to see just how impressive Defiant technology has become.
That is why we will always triumph over their archaic methods in the end. The cannons can be found all along the ridge. Hopefully, they won't be too difficult to repair. Return to Centurion Ilyara near Dagger's Edge. Centurion Ilyara. Uriel Chuluun wants you to investigate the increased water magic activity at Molinar Crossing, northeast of Stonemason's Watch, and confront any Abyssal you find there.
We need to find out what Tidelord Brenin and his cohorts are doing in the Highlands. Is it just a quest for power, or is it something more? I've managed to pinpoint the area with the highest levels of tidetouched magic. I want you to go there to see what you can discover about the Abyssal activity in this area of Moonshade. As I suspected, there is more to Brenin's plans than just mayhem and looting.
It seems that fool thinks he can break into Hammerknell itself. Though I am getting readings of a lot of tidetouched activity at that location, I am unsure of the number of Abyssal you might encounter. Rough Interrogations. Juntar Kreb wants you to kill Abyssal Cultists in the Boundary Ruins area, east of Timberveil, and then return to him when the task is done. I found residual dregs of death energy soaking those ram livers.
The Abyssal cultists must have released the corruption of death magic in their greed for dwarven artifacts. We've got to stop them before the corruption spreads even further. I only hope you killed enough of the cultists. Their foolish pursuit of artifacts may have already unsettled the entire region, leaving us open to attack from the forces of Regulos.
The death energy that is driving the local animals to madness is surely saturating the landscape as well. You must slay the Abyssal cultists before their looting gets in the way of our progress.
Return to Juntar Kreb at Timbeveil. We must stop the Abyssal cult from acquiring the secrets of Hammerknell. To this end, the Faceless Man has allied with a group of dwarves known as the Runeguard - they seem to care not of our conflict with the Guardians, so we can trust them for now.
Report to the Faceless Man at once. Thank you for the message. I have the same suspicions as Uriel. She and I often think along the same lines. I am hesitant to trust the Runeguard here, but we travel parallel paths.
If they wish to see the end of Gorvaht and the Abyssal cult, then we will join them for the time being. Speak with the Faceless Man at Reclaimer's Hold. Have you heard of Moonshade Highlands? Home to many dwarves, it was ravaged when Aedraxis damaged the Ward.
My people sought shelter in Hammerknell Fortress, but were never heard from again. To help find out what happened, speak to Talvar Methyn in the town of Three Springs. This is great news! Borrin has sent no less than an Ascended to aid our cause. There is much to be done to restore the glory of our people, so let's get to work.
Speak with Talvar Methyn in Three Springs. Thomas Penthas wants you to rescue the Messenger of Bahralt from the Abyssal and then speak with him at the very top of Bahralt's Ascent, north of Hammerlord Post. The scorch marks on these relics means the Abyssal cult has begun their ritual. If they mean to compel Bahralt's Messenger to reveal his secrets, the cult might gain power over the gods themselves. You must rescue Bahralt's Messenger. You actually spoke with the Messenger? You are blessed!
If the Messenger speaks the word of Bahralt, then we're in trouble. This Tidelord Brenin is the leader of the Abyssal cult, and if he believes that the secret to releasing Akylios lies within Hammerknell Fortress, there's no telling what chaos they'll unleash to please their dragon god. The Messenger may only have minutes to live!
If you do not save him, the fury of Bahralt will be immeasurable. Return to Thomas Penthas at Hammerlord Post. As runebinding gained prominence, dwarven artisans found that binding a demon into runecraft requires a great deal of energy.
They devised capsules to power these procedures, many of which litter the fortress grounds. We must recover them before the Abyssal does. I'm afraid that some of these capsules have been depleted. It appears as if someone has already used them! Whatever the Abyssal cult is doing up there, they now has more than enough power to do it.
The Hammerknell runebinders had to create special power sources that would allow them to create runebound vessels. Many of these power sources are now strewn about the fortress grounds. We need to recover these power sources before the Abyssal cult acquires them.
