Why does stephenie meyer hates blondes

I'd say that they're the Twilight version of bad guys, but Twilight only has the Volturi- who are, like, the shittiest bad guys ever.

The Volturi talk a big game, but then only end up killing random secondary characters while begging Edward and Alice to join up. That's one thing Stephenie Meyer did redeem herself on, though. The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner changed my perspective on her writing ability and the series as a whole, because she added dimensions to characters she originally created just to fill plot holes. It's happening. I owe Stephenie Meyer for all the years I spent bitching about her series and brazenly claiming that it was the worst popular bestseller of all time.

I practically asked for Fifty Shades to happen. And it's made me think of Ms. Meyer in a whole new light. So just you wait, that shit is cookin'! Most white women feel insecure around me, because I'm naturally fitted to the Western ideal of beauty. I'm naturally blond and slim and I have really big knockers. I also put a lot of effort into looking good in the morning, so I don't feel I should have to apologize for that. But my "grooming" and my "passion for fashion" are negatives to most women, and it's a constant source of struggle for me.

Since I grew into my looks and starting caring about my appearance, I lost literally all my female friends. So yeah, this shit is personal for me. The "dumb blonde" stereotype, combined with the "slutty blonde" stereotype is beyond cliche. It's also offensive to the nationalities that are more likely to be blonde, like German, Polish, and Scandinavian. She's so immature! She gives out her email, then gets her brother, Seth, to delete anything that would make her upset!

Critisicm that people actually tried to help her write with! The fact she places herself into Bella. Notice how she looks exactly like bella, if you rearrange her face alittle.

Think about it. Imagine, a skinner, younger SMeyer. She has brown hair and eyes, the same length and stuff even lips! She calls her pale, which SM is but just a little and is basically the goodlooking version of herself even though Bella sounds uglier than my GreatGrandmother-and she's been dead for 11 years.

I so agree with you, Aspecially the nr 5! AlxanderRfan posted over a year ago. That video is too awesome : LackingLogic posted over a year ago. Couldn't agree more. She makes adolescent girl go all dreamy about a perfect guy who'll come and bite them so they can suck blood. MelodyLaurel posted over a year ago. She has that You-adore-me-I'll-brush-you-off attitude that I really hate. She always avoids questions and is like, "It's just a book, okay? She practically has her brother as a guard dog, sniffing out her mail and whatnot. I bet he even blocked the ads for Vampires Suck on the television.

There are little girls reading Twilight, you can't just post glitter fetishes and pedo wolves in there! I'm sorry, but it did have Bram Stoker crying in his grave. Uh oh. I'm a Hufflepuff D: HecateA posted over a year ago. Bram Stoker haunted me. He ripped up my rejected copy of Twilight and then ripped it up, and disappeared. I guess I should have been shocked, but instead I said "Wait!

Can't you come and do the rest?! Everyone knows him and if he said Twilight sucks, well then twilight sucks twilightsucks97 posted over a year ago. Darkshine said: 1. She thinks people don't realise that Twilight was just her stupid sexual fantasy which she made into a book. She places herself into Bella and lives an imaginary life. That's just stupid and sends bad messages to girls. Another bad message. She wrote a series which is sexist and offensive to blondes. The girls never do anything was said before special, and the blondes are the bad guys Lauren and it's all full of blonde jokes Jacob to Rosalie 3.

She promotes pedophillia, necrophillia and beastiality in her books. She doesn't listen to criticism. She thinks she's on the top of the world and until she cools down a bit her writing won't get any better. In my opinon that's the most stupid thing she has ever done. I love that picture! LOL that picture is amazing Mongoose09 posted over a year ago. LackingLogic posted over a year ago. I'm not fond of that idea either. I agree with you there. But you took away the best answer!

Bella: Leave her alone James, what has poor old Stephenie done to you?! James: Well- Its even the fact that she exsists if you know what I mean. Sparkly or cutie with the glasses? Thank you! HecateA said: I'm stuck between critisism response and having Seth go through her email. But I'm going to say how she responds to critisism. EX: saying she shouldn't be born "It's just a story" "You're getting too much into the story".

Mannu said: Agreed with sparkly vampires. And making Bella super-annying and there are still 2 men wanting her. NomyCake said: I think it's probably the way that she symbolized the "love" between Bella and Edward and the message it sent to young girls. Let's face it, Edward watching Bella sleep was a creepy thought, and that would just make me feel uncomfortable if I knew my boyfriend was watching me sleep.

But since Bella was okay with it, it told the brainwashable girls reading that they would be okay with it too. I know a few girls who ask their boyfriends to watch them sleep because of it. And the way Bella acted in New Moon! The "Oh, my boy left me here all by myself and I need him and I'm not going to be happy until he comes back so I'll just flirt around with my best friend in the meantime and wonder why he falls for me then do something totally dangerous so I can see my boyfriend in my imagination again!

New Moon is the reason so many thirteen year old girls think their life is over when they break up with someone when it obviously isn't. Persephone said: creating Twilight-sorry I couldnt stop myself. For creating such a " Mary Sue" character that girls aspire to be. Not only girls but some women. I am not a feminist by any means-Hell I collect Disney Princesses.

And for creating the notion that its " Romantic" for your so called lover to stalk you, leave you-then come back, watch you etc. Also for giving Vampires and Fairies a bad name. Lets see- Unoriginality.

Black, Clearwater and Bella all in the same book. I have read those names before in a book million times better. Making me throw up everytime hear " Twilight". I actually enjoy the word when referring to a time of day. But I think people have forgotten that it was a time of day before a stupid book series. I don't understand why people keep repeating "I'm not a feminist" Why? You don't believe men and women are equal?

I think most people are confused as to what a feminist is. DancePetunia posted over a year ago. MephilesTheDark said: 'He's hard as granite and he sparkles! Sparkly and lives in a forest: Fairy. A bloodsucking And, of course Bella is a self-insert Mary-Sue. Your kitchen bench? All that being said, Rosalie Hale is one of the best characters in the series to me because she dares to have a personality. This is a woman who went through sexual trauma, took back her power in her own way, and found love on her own terms.

She has degrees in electrical engineering, business, and astrophysics. Yet, she is written to be plagued by her biological inability to carry children. In a series that values superficial beauty, she is chided for being shallow.

Her actual flaws, like the racist-coded insults toward Jacob and the other werewolves, are just treated as vampire vs. A few of them—Rosalie, for example—were difficult. It took me a while to figure out what her thing was.
